Learning to Sail

Coaching for members is provided on Saturday mornings or afternoons from May to September for beginners and improvers, juniors, youths and adults.  A safety boat is manned by volunteers so you can take a club boat out and be supervised. These attempt to buddy up new members with experienced sailors, so that they can get afloat and benefit from the experience of these members. If you are interested contact the Training Officer – training@sully-sailing.org.uk

When the weather is not suitable or after sailing there will be theory sessions for those wishing to extend their knowledge.

For competent sailors wishing to improve their racing skills Steve Marshall is happy to advise and assist with the use of the club Lasers dinghies. Contact:- admin@sully-sailing.org.uk

Members are encouraged to undertake the RYA Level 2 powerboat course, as this will assist them when they have to do their club duty. If you want to do a powerboat course please contact training@sully-sailing.org.uk
